How to Brew: The Pour Over with FAST Filters

Experience the perfect cup of coffee with our V60 brewing method. Follow these simple steps to enjoy a black coffee with a balanced acidity, body, and sweetness:

  1. Begin by heating at least 225g of filtered water to 94C. If you don't have a thermometer, aim for just under boiling temperature.
  2. Weigh out 15g of whole bean coffee, providing a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio.
  3. Grind the coffee using a medium-coarse setting, approximately 16 clicks on the Comandante grinder.
  4. Place the Sibarist FAST Filter on the V60 dripper and rinse it with hot water. Discard the rinsing water.
  5. Add the ground coffee into the V60 dripper.
  6. Start your timer and pour 50g of water onto the coffee grounds in concentric circles, ensuring all the grounds are thoroughly saturated.
  7. At the 30-second mark, pour another 40g of water.
  8. Divide the remaining water into three separate pours, with a 15-second interval between each pour.
  9. The total brew time should be 1 minute and 35 seconds.
  10. Take a moment to sip and savor the well-balanced flavors of your freshly brewed coffee.
